Coastal Empire - Boys Spring Recreational Teams
Boys 14U | 12U | 10U | 8U teams
About Us
Our local teams are for beginner, intermediate and advanced players. We stress the fundamentals and subtle nuances of the game over "winning at all costs". We believe in hard work, unselfish play, and building character.
Our seasoned coaches strive to teach the technical skills of lacrosse while providing an opportunity for personal development. We believe that lacrosse should be fun for the players but provide a foundation for building character that will instill teamwork, discipline, integrity, sportsmanship and respect to other players, coaches and parents.
We are committed to multiple practices a week, games on the weekends, and some travel.

CE practice schedules are not finalized until the Parks and Leisure Services approve our requested schedule. While CE makes an effort to coordinate with other youth sports programs when creating the master schedule, there are always some scheduling conflicts that we will do our best to resolve in a reasonable amount of time, if we are unable to, neither late registration fees, nor the refund processing fee of $25 will be waived for any scheduling reasons for any programs.
All parents of boys in grades K-4 will be asked to volunteer at some point in the season.
At time of registration, you may choose your volunteer opportunity (a dropdown menu will include these options: assistant coach, team manager, volunteer at game days).

Coaches
Committed to giving our coaches the best possible coaching education--education that makes them effective teachers of the game for the age and developmental stage in which they coach. We sharpen the tools into coaches’ hands that make it easy for them to help kids learn the game in a fun, developmentally appropriate way.

The current youth lacrosse development model rushes to identify the best players at early ages, and leaves potential players behind with limited opportunity to play. The LADM aim is to keep more players engaged with the sport longer, allowing the best players to emerge as they reach physical maturity.
